Franklin Heilijgers is fairly new in the Flamenco scene. This very talented bass player has been playing succesfully all kinds of different music styles from rock to world music (The bananas, La vie en rose, da gaia, milk and others)as a proffesional all his life. Recently he mastered Alain Labries Flamenco compositions and is playing this with great virtuosity. Already he's one of the best flamenco bass player in the Netherlands and abroad. Obviously you can hear the influence of his idols Jaco Pastorius and Carles Benavent in his playing.
